The Lexington Group seeks to promote the scholarly study of transportation history by awarding study grants that honor one of the organization’s founders, Richard C. Overton. Awards in amounts of up to $3,000 each are available in 2022 to help qualified applicants underwrite their expenses connected with scholarly research on a topic in transportation history. New applicants as well as past Overton winners are encouraged to apply for one of this year’s awards.
Our schedule is as follows: please send your applications by regular mail or by email no later than May 31, 2022, to one of my addresses listed below. Committee members will evaluate them during the summer and expect to disburse checks to winners by the end of August.
Applications for 2022 are posted on the Lexington Group website here, or you can request one via the Internet at email@example.com. Or by regular mail by writing me at 620 Spring Meadows Drive, Ballwin, Missouri 63011.
